Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position with a focus on oncology. This role requires a flexible schedule, including both day and night shifts, and floating between units as needed.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience is required.
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience is required.
• Oncology experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with the EPIC electronic health record system is required.

Certifications Required

• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Skills and Proficiencies

• Proficient in IV starts.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring.

Patient Care Ratio

The patient to nurse ratio is 1:4.

Time Off Policy

• Requests for time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.
• Up to 7 consecutive days off may be granted at the facility’s discretion for a 14-week contract.

Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months for annual permits. Current and prior months are not refundable. Cancellations must be made by the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge. Refund checks may take several weeks to process.
