Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule

This position may require rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights. Expect potential weekend, holiday, on-call, and callback duties as necessary to meet unit needs. The position offers options for 36 or 48 hours per week.

Role Overview

The Level II Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, applying clinical practices grounded in service excellence, professional development, and research-based evidence. Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, the RN is accountable for delivering care that adheres to established standards and practices. This role may involve expanded responsibilities such as functioning as a charge nurse, preceptor, and participating in various committees.

Requirements

• New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only)
• Telemetry experience is required
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
