Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role is vital in providing high-quality care to mothers and newborns during the labor and delivery process.

Position Information

• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Specialty: Labor and Delivery
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: 5-6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• Call Requirements: No scheduled call; may flex down based on unit census

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery, with couplet care and LDRP experience preferred.
• Nursing Certifications: NRP, BLS, Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required; must have completed advanced training).
• NICU Experience: Some NICU experience is preferred.
• Education: Must possess a valid RN license.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Ratios: As per AWHONN guidelines
• Electronic Health Record System: GE Centricity/Paragon
