Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role is crucial in providing high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in couplet care and labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP) settings.

Position Information

• Department: Labor and Delivery
• Openings: 1
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: 5-6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
• Call Requirements: No scheduled call, but flexibility may be required based on unit census

Qualifications

• Required Certifications:
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (Advanced preferred)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery
• Preferred Experience:
  • Couplet care
  • Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) experience
  • Some NICU experience

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Ratios: In accordance with AWHONN guidelines
• Electronic Health Record: GE Centricity/Paragon

Successful candidates will be adaptable, demonstrate a commitment to patient care, and exhibit excellent interpersonal skills. This position may require floating to other tasks or support roles as needed.
