CT Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and confident CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performing computed tomography scans and will be comfortable working independently in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans, including angio studies and basic CT imaging.
• Occasionally perform X-ray procedures as needed.
• Work autonomously and efficiently, particularly during times when other staff are unavailable.
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality in imaging practices.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Work Schedule

This position offers a 36-hour work week with evening shifts from Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ARRT certification (CT) is mandatory.

Unit Information

The unit specializes in performing CT scans in emergency situations, with typical case volumes of 10-15 per day. The department utilizes Phillips 64 slice scanners and offers floor-specific orientation for new hires.

Additional Notes

• Must be able to work independently with limited resources.
• Floating to X-ray duties may be required; must be willing to relearn necessary skills.
• Staff members will be expected to adhere to a scrub color of teal.
• Pharmacy services are available 24/7, with restricted hours for specific needs at night.
