Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, working rotating shifts that include weekends and potential floating between various units as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the emergency room setting.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on healthcare topics and procedures.
• Participate in continuing education and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience for first-time travelers; 2 years of experience for non-first timers.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records is preferred.
• Must possess a valid vehicle for necessary travel between multiple units and facilities.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00)
• Every other weekend required.
• Block schedules are not applicable.

Additional Information

• Floating to other units based on skill sets may be required.
• No on-call shifts are required for this position.
• No parking fees associated with the facility.
