Medical Physicist

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Medical Physicist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Radiation Oncology and will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of radiation in the treatment of patients.

Schedule

This position offers a schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Candidates must also be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical physics services in the area of radiation oncology.
• Optimize treatment planning and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and treatment protocols.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on radiation therapy equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Radiation Oncology.
• Master’s Degree in Medical Physics or a related field.
• ABR certification or eligibility is required.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
