Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our invasive cardiology team. This position is focused on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, specifically within procedural labs for catheterizations, electrophysiological studies, and peripheral vascular cases.

Schedule Requirements

• Work hours are 0700 to 1730.
• Schedule consists of 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
• Days off will vary during the week.
• Must be available for on-call as needed by the unit.

Unit Information

The invasive cardiology department features three procedural labs and its own 12-bed prep and recovery area. Our team, composed of skilled invasive cardiologists, electrophysiologists, registered nurses, and technologists, handles a wide range of procedures from diagnostics to complex interventions. The available treatments include advanced STEMI and cardiac arrest options such as Impella and ECMO, in addition to cardioversions, implants, and ablations for various rhythm issues. The department is also expanding its capabilities to include structural heart procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is necessary.

• Maximum allowable time off (RTO) is 7 days.
• Mandatory weekend coverage every third weekend.
• Holiday shifts may be required as needed.
