Registered Nurse (RN) – Respiratory

Shift Information

Night Shift: 7 PM – 7:30 AM. Every other weekend required. No call requirement.

Job Overview

The Registered Nurse will primarily work on the Respiratory unit, which includes care for patients with respiratory conditions, including COVID-19. There may be occasional floating to various Med-Surg units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to respiratory patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including Telemetry and Stepdown patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (Epic).
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in holiday coverage as required.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown nursing experience.
• Proficient in Epic electronic medical records system; candidates must demonstrate proficiency upon hire.
• Ability to read and interpret Telemetry; competency testing will be conducted on the first day of employment.

Additional Information

Unless the RN is a returning traveler within 9 months, available start dates are November 4th or November 16th. This position requires a commitment to high standards of patient care and teamwork.
