Medical Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our Urology Clinic. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in urology and be capable of delivering high-quality patient care in an efficient and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with established protocols
• Assist with clinical procedures and patient examinations
• Manage patient records and documentation accurately
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Perform administrative duties including scheduling and organizing patient appointments
• Maintain examination rooms and ensure all equipment is functioning properly

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification (CMA) required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Experience in either an urgent care facility or family practice preferred

• Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective information flow
• Competency in performing patient care skills
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Interpersonal skills to engage with patients and team members positively
• Ability to read and perform clinical procedures safely with adequate visual and hearing ability
• Manual dexterity to perform necessary skills and procedures for patient care
• Physical ability to lift, pull, and turn a minimum of 50 pounds unassisted, and over 100 pounds with assistance

Work Schedule

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. An ASAP start date is preferred.
