Surgical Technologist (Allied)

We are seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist to join our team and provide exceptional support in the surgical setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in surgical procedures and maintain high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team in preparing for and executing surgical procedures.
• Ensure the availability of necessary instruments and supplies for various surgical operations.
• Maintain sterility and the integrity of the surgical environment at all times.
• Effectively communicate with surgical personnel to ensure a seamless surgical experience.
• Participate in on-call rotations and perform duties as required during on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in surgery.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: Surgical Technologist Certification from NBSTA or NCCT.

Holiday Requirements

Candidates must be available to work during major holidays, including:

• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
• New Year’s Day

Additionally, candidates must work one minor holiday, such as:

• Day after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve
• New Year’s Eve
