Registered Nurse – Special Care Nursery

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Special Care Nursery team. This position will focus primarily on providing care in a Special Care Nursery environment, while also floating to the main NICU and other areas as necessary.

Shift Information

• Start Date: 11/02
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Rotating
• Hours: 36 hours guaranteed | 3 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Special Care Nursery.
• Float to the main NICU and PICU/Peds departments as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and respond appropriately to changes in condition.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, with Level 3 NICU experience required.
• Active RN license in the state of Hawaii.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics, Advanced Provider level.
