Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for an upcoming opportunity. This role is crucial in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Duration

• 13 weeks

Shift Information

• Days: 7 AM – 7 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor patient health and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families about health management and wellness.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (to be obtained prior to start).
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
• A permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility.

Scheduling Information

This opportunity allows for flexible scheduling requests of up to 48 hours per week. Please indicate any scheduling preferences when applying.
