Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Department Overview

The Emergency Department provides comprehensive care for patients with a diverse range of needs, from non-critical to emergent medical conditions. This includes urgent mental health care. Patients are welcomed regardless of how they arrive, whether by walking in or through emergency transport. All Emergency Department staff members are certified to manage critical cardiac and trauma patients, including pediatric cases.

Experience, Education, and Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• For LCH Emergency RN: ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required.
• Certification as an Emergency Nurse is preferred.

Shift Information

• Varies, with rotating weekends.
• Holiday coverage is required.

Minimum Years of Experience

1 year of experience required.
