Acute Travel Registered Nurse (RN): MS/Ortho

Position Overview

The Acute Travel Registered Nurse will primarily focus on Medical-Surgical and Orthopedic nursing. The role includes providing patient-centered care, collaborating with healthcare team members, and maintaining compliance with required regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members.
• Perform nursing procedures and administer medications according to protocols.
• Monitor and record vital signs and medical information to ensure patient safety.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health issues and recovery.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state nursing license as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience, particularly in a Medical-Surgical or Orthopedic setting.
• Completion of required certifications prior to the start of the assignment.
• Pass the state-specific checks, including the required Tennessee Abuse Registry check.
