Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. This position involves providing care to a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers will be considered.
• Valid certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS.

General Skills and Responsibilities

• Experience in emergency care settings is required.
• Capable of managing dysrhythmias, central line care and management, IV vasopressors, CPAP/BiPAP, and care for ventilated patients.
• Participating in triage and emergency response as needed.

Work Environment

• Unit Systems: Utilize Pyxis and Epic for medication and patient management.
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue.

Schedule Details

• Shifts: Night shifts, 3×12-hour schedule (19:00 – 07:00).
• Weekend Requirements: Must work every other weekend unless otherwise specified.
• Time Off: Maximum of 7 days off is permitted.
• Holidays: Expected to work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment period, and may be required to work multiple holidays depending on the schedule.

Additional Information

• Compliance: Full compliance with credentialing and onboarding requirements is necessary to facilitate timely start dates.
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers.
• Floating may occur within the facility’s scope of practice.
