Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care to patients or assigned groups of patients. This role requires adherence to established standards of care and the nursing process while supervising and directing the activities of various levels of nursing staff.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse will employ critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment to coordinate care with multiple disciplines. This position is essential in promoting patient health and ensuring a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze relevant data regarding patients’ health or situations.
• Develop care plans that prescribe interventions based on assessment data.
• Implement the care plan, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote health and safety.
• Evaluate progress toward attaining patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and humane patient care.
• Provide education and learning opportunities for patients and their families.
• Participate in discharge planning to facilitate continuity of care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
• Experience in an acute care facility – Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification – Required
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification – Required
