Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of recent experience within the specialty area.

Schedule

The work schedule will vary, typically from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
• Handle surgical instruments and equipment effectively during operations.
• Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff to ensure a smooth surgical experience.
• Prepare and clean the operating room and equipment before and after procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a surgical technologist role.
• Required: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred: Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTA) or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).

Holiday Requirements

The selected candidate must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve).
