Surgical Technologist (Allied)

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of recent experience within the surgical specialty, demonstrating proficiency in assisting during surgical procedures.

Schedule

• Varied schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of the operating room and surgical instruments
• Support the surgical team during procedures
• Maintain a sterile field, ensuring the safety and care of patients
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeons and nursing staff throughout surgeries

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the surgical specialty
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Preferred: National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) certification

Holiday Expectations

Candidates must be willing to work 2 major holidays out of the following 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, as well as 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
