Operating Room Technician

Job Description

The Operating Room Technician will play a crucial role in supporting surgical teams and ensuring that surgeries are conducted efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess experience in orthopedic and joint procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating room for procedures.
• Ensure that all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and organized.
• Provide assistance during surgery by passing instruments and anticipating the needs of the surgical team.
• Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure a smooth surgical workflow.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the operating room.

Shift Details

This position is for the day shift, from 07:00 to 15:30, and may require up to five days of work per week. Candidates should be prepared for on-call duty during nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the operating room, specifically in orthopedic and joint procedures, is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
