Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a qualified Radiation Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and experience in oncology to provide high-quality care to patients in a specialized setting.

Job Details

• Unit: Radiation Oncology
• Shift Length: 8 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• No weekends or holidays required

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake and assessment of patients in the clinic.
• Assist physicians with various procedures (training will be provided).
• Provide patient care with a focus on oncology treatments.
• Manage daily patient load (approximately 5-6 patients per day).
• Utilize electronic medical records specific to oncology, training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care and preferred 1-2 years in oncology nursing.
• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Skills: Strong nursing assessment skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity: Experience with ARIA or similar EMR systems is a plus (training available).
