Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in rehabilitation, responsible for providing direct patient care and supporting patients in their recovery journey. The ideal candidate will work within a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and supporting a collaborative care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes in health status to the appropriate medical staff.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and rehabilitation protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Work Environment

The role is set within a facility designed to enhance patient recovery featuring spacious rehabilitation spaces, advanced therapy equipment, and communal areas supporting family involvement in the care process.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in rehabilitation nursing is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Schedule

This position requires a commitment to working day shifts with guaranteed weekly hours. Weekend hours may also be part of the schedule.

Reporting

Upon arrival, please check in with the Charge Nurse. Scrub color required for this position is black, and parking is available in the designated area at the back of the facility.

Patient Population

This role primarily serves a geriatric and adult patient population recovering from various conditions, including strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, and complex orthopedic injuries.
