Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, primarily working in the Emergency Room (ER) and providing support to the Med-Surg floor as needed. This position requires a proactive and flexible approach to meet the demands of a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week); potential for additional shifts as needed. Standard shifts are from 06:45 AM to 07:15 PM.
• Weekend Requirement: Weekends required, no on-call duty.
• Length of Assignment: 10 weeks, with a possibility of extension.
• Housing: A room is available for the RN to stay in, located within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room.
• Float to the Med-Surg unit when ER activity is low.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families regarding conditions and health management.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in Emergency Room settings preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing workload and patient needs.
