Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a Night Shift position in the Emergency Department. Ideal candidates will be prepared to begin as soon as possible, with a start date no later than October 26, in order to support an upcoming event.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3×12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Availability for weekends (minimum 8 per contract) and holidays as required
• Float assignments required as necessary

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department setting
• Administer blood products and manage central lines
• Perform phlebotomy and start intravenous (IV) lines
• Provide continuous IV sedation and administer IV vasopressors
• Assist with procedural sedation administration
• Handle CPAP/BiPAP and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Care for ventilated patients
• Conduct triage and prioritize patient care effectively

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
• Experience with EPIC software preferred

Patient Care Ratios

Patient-to-nurse ratios are set at 1:5 to ensure quality care delivery.
