Rehabilitation Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team at a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. This position is focused on the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced a loss of function due to injury or illness.

Responsibilities

• Provide customized and intensive rehabilitation services tailored to individual patient needs.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust rehabilitation programs as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about recovery processes and self-care strategies.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Valid state license in rehabilitation therapy.
• Degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, or a related field.
• Experience in acute rehabilitation settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations and adapt to changing circumstances.
