Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This position requires working in both the Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) units, adapting to the needs of the facility as patients present. Please note that some shifts may involve more Med Surg responsibilities than ER duties.

Shift Details

• Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Days: Full-time during the day shift

Position Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ER and Med Surg units.
• Work collaboratively with a team consisting of 2 nurses, 1 aide, and 1 staff secretary on the floor.
• Manage patient care with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3, with a maximum of 5:1.
• Document patient information using Athena electronic medical records (EMR).

Qualifications

• A valid KS state or multistate nursing license.
• AHA certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC is required.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred, but first-time travelers may be considered.
• Candidates with less than three years of experience may also apply.

Additional Information

• No mileage restrictions apply.
• Exemptions for the COVID-19 vaccine are accepted; however, the flu vaccine is not required.
• There is a shift cancellation clause where the client may cancel one shift every 30 days during a thirteen-week assignment.
• If a shift is canceled after the healthcare provider has started working, the client will compensate for the hours worked or a minimum of two hours, whichever is greater.
