Acute Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The Acute Care CNA provides essential nursing care to patients in a structured medical/surgical environment. This role involves working under the supervision of professional nursing staff and requires knowledge relevant to the age and needs of the patients served.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit.
• Assist with daily living activities and provide compassionate support to patients.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) or BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support).
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including night and day shifts, based on departmental needs.
• Willingness to rotate shifts as required and provide coverage for holiday shifts.
