Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, with the potential to float to various units as required.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate patient care with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Participate in unit activities and support operational needs of the organization.
• Be available to float to other units as needed to provide care.

Qualifications

• MUST have 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for.
• MUST possess a permanent Ohio license or Compact State License in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.

Work Schedule

This position requires rotating shifts of 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with variability as needed to meet operational demands. Travelers are expected to work at least every other holiday.
