Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

We are seeking experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses to join our team. This role is focused on providing exceptional care to women during childbirth and throughout the perinatal period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage labor processes and assist with deliveries.
• Support mothers and newborns post-delivery in the maternity ward.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health throughout labor.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
• Participate in triage processes and PACU as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery experience is required.
• BLS and NRP certifications are mandatory.
• AWHONN Intermediate certification is preferred.
• Epic experience is necessary for successful applicants.
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays based on schedule.
• Floating to unit areas is expected; however, floating to sister facilities is not permitted.

Shift and Schedule:

This position is for night shifts, available in either 3×12 or 4×12 hour schedules. A maximum of 1 week of requested time off is permitted, and holiday work is required. Block scheduling is not an option unless specified otherwise.

Unit Overview:

The Labor and Delivery unit is designed for women of childbearing age, featuring:

• 7 labor beds
• 3 triage areas
• 2 PACU beds
• 16 mother-baby beds
