Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Float Pool

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care Float Pool team. This role requires flexibility in providing care across various specialties, including medical, surgical, medical telemetry, surgical telemetry, infusion, orthopedic, and neurosurgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in multiple acute care settings.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Effectively manage patient care loads with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5.
• Float within the hospital to various units, maintaining the scope of practice.
• Attend to the needs of patients and families, enhancing their healthcare experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Certifications:
  • BCLS certification is required.
  • CPI certification is preferred.
• Must be willing to work every other weekend.
• No pending licenses will be accepted.
• Restrictions on time-off requests: 1 week maximum.

Working Conditions

• Shifts: Full-time roles available, with both day (3×12-hour) and night (3×12-hour) shifts offered.
• Monthly parking costs apply.
• Healthcare providers may be called off or placed on-call during low census periods as per the established guidelines.
