MRI Technologist

Shift Details

This position is for a night shift, working four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on inpatients and outpatients, including those under general anesthesia, vented, sedated, and receiving anxiolysis.
• Effectively manage a daily caseload of up to 50 patients.
• Utilize Siemens MRI equipment proficiently.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team while also being able to operate independently.
• Conduct IV starts as needed and manage contrast administration.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI technology.
• Experience with Siemens MRI systems is required.
• Certifications: BLS and ARRT are mandatory.
• Experience in various settings including outpatient, inpatient, ER, Level I trauma, teaching hospitals, and adult ICU.

Work Environment

This role is situated in a very busy MRI department. Candidates must be capable of multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work days, evenings, and occasional overnight shifts, as well as weekend shifts, is required.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must provide availability for weekend shifts as needed, and ideally, have no more than five days of time off restrictions during the contract period.
