Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Job Description

An opportunity exists for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team. This role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced setting and requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Effectively communicate with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care procedures.
• Adhere to established protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety.

Shift and Scheduling

• 4 shifts per week from noon to midnight.
• Block schedules required.
• Weekends required as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with certification in ACLS, BLS, and TNCC.
• Experience in an emergency room or similar acute care setting preferred.
• Expected nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4.
