Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Main Operating Room (OR) and Open Heart specialty. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the Main OR, primarily focusing on surgical procedures.
• Provide support and care during Open Heart surgeries as needed.
• Participate in approximately 10-15 on-calls per month, including 1-2 weekends.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system for patient documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in an acute care facility is preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
• Facility Specific: Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification is required.

Work Schedule

This position offers a 4-day work week consisting of 10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
