Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at a stand-alone birthing center. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional care in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a passion for maternal and neonatal health.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing appropriate interventions.
• Assist in labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and comfort of mothers and newborns.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families about care procedures and newborn care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Experience with Meditech electronic medical record system is preferred.
