Unit Details

This position operates in the Core Lab with specific requirements regarding experience and contract length.

Weekend and Call Requirements

• Weekend: Every third/rotation to meet departmental needs
• Call: None required
• Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience required. First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.

Clinical Screening

Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine fit. If candidates pass the clinical screening and meet established guidelines, they will be forwarded to the manager for a final decision. Clinical screens will be processed on a case-by-case basis.

Required Time Off (RTO)

Maximum of 7 days allowed.

Holiday Requirements

If a major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. Should two or three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of those holidays.

• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day

Compliance Requirements

Full compliance is required to start on time. If compliance is not met in a timely manner, there may be a pushback of up to 2 weeks due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Additional Information

• Locals accepted at the same rate.
• Number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment; 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).

Shift Details

The position operates on a day shift of 3×12 hours, with shifts scheduled from 06:30 to 19:00.
