CVOR Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves scrubbing cardiovascular cases and will require a strong background in trauma and critical care areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub in on cardiovascular surgical procedures, including heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO cases.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care.
• Participate in rotating call schedule, providing support during designated on-call hours.
• Float to other operating room specialties as needed to meet organizational needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical setting, with preference for candidates who have experience in Level I Trauma centers.
• BLS certification is required.
• Must possess or be eligible for an Indiana nursing license, compact license, or Indiana temporary license.
• Availability to work two out of three major holidays is required.

Additional Information:

• Shift: Day shifts, 4×10 hours, from 06:30 to 17:00.
• Free parking is available for all staff.
• The facility is designed as a short-term acute care center with a total of 931 staffed beds across multiple wings.
• Charting will be performed using Cerner software.
