Emergency Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, triage experience, and the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional emergency care to patients in a hospital setting.
• Conduct thorough triage assessments and make critical decisions based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Float to inpatient units as needed to provide nursing support throughout the facility.

Schedule

• Shifts: 3×12 hours (Day/Mid) with times from 0700-1930 and 1100-2330.
• Weekends: Every other weekend required.
• Open to accommodating block schedules as determined by unit needs.

Patient Ratios

Patient care ratio of 1:3.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required.
• Triage experience is required; level I or level II trauma experience preferred.
• Must have an active MN state nursing license (not a compact state).
• Certifications required include:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • TNCC
  • ENPC or PALS
• Pending licenses will be accepted, provided proof of the application submission date is included.
• Local candidates will not be accepted; candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Must include finalized RTO with submission—no RTO within the first week of the start date and no more than 10 days of RTO per assignment.

Special Requirements

• Art Line experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting preferred.
