Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

Position Summary

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) position focuses on delivering quality care to residents and their families by adhering to the guidelines, policies, and procedures established within the skilled nursing facility. The role involves assisting residents with their daily activities, ensuring their safety, health, and comfort.

Essential Job Duties

• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as toileting, transferring, bathing, and grooming.
• Report any changes in resident conditions to the supervising nurse.
• Obtain vital signs, weights, and other necessary information as required.
• Address resident needs in a timely manner.
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the charge nurse.
• Perform additional duties as requested.

Required Qualifications

To effectively fulfill this role, the following qualifications are required:

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Must maintain active Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
