Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort while delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor residents’ vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Help maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Support residents in mobility and physical activities.
• Document care provided and residents’ responses in accordance with facility protocols.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Shift Information

This position will require evening shifts, with a commitment to work every other weekend and holiday. A guaranteed 40 hours per week is offered, with each shift lasting 8 hours.

Unit Information

The position is based in a Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility setting, providing care to residents with diverse needs.
