Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Position

A virtual interview is required for all candidates. The Nursing Director will contact the candidate within 24–48 hours of receiving the worker’s profile to schedule the interview.

Shift Information

• Shifts Available: 3x12s or 4x12s, Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Patient Ratios: 1:6 to 1:7
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating Requirement: Yes, travelers may need to float within scope to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required in a Med/Surg setting
• First-timers: Not accepted; prior travel experience is necessary
• License: South Carolina license or Compact license must be obtained prior to starting
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications are required
• Additional Skills: Experience in Telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of dysrhythmias is preferred
• Training: Completion of all assigned modules prior to the start date is mandatory; access will be given by the Wednesday before the start date.
• Meetings: Attendance at staff meetings is required.

• Local Candidates: Accepted within a 60-mile radius at a reduced rate
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility reserves the right to call off one shift per two weeks.
• Call Out Policy: After two call outs without a documented medical reason, the contract may be subject to cancellation.
