Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position at a skilled nursing facility (SNF). This role addresses a critical need for speech-language services, offering the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language assessments and interventions to patients as per therapeutic guidelines.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Document patient progress and adjust plans based on responses to therapy.
• Educate patients and their families regarding speech and language disorders and treatment expectations.
• Stay updated with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across weekdays and weekends as needed.

Work Schedule

This position offers a flexible schedule of 40 hours per week, with a combination of weekday and weekend shifts.
