Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time role at a skilled nursing facility. This position addresses the critical need for high-quality speech and language services within the setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
• Implement therapy interventions aimed at improving communication and swallowing function.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Flexible schedule with availability for weekdays and weekends.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Work Schedule

This position offers a flexible schedule with a commitment of 35 hours weekly. Candidates should be open to working both weekdays and weekends as needed.
