Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This position involves working with patients at a skilled nursing facility, providing essential speech and language services to support their recovery and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to facilitate patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families about communication disorders and treatment options.
• Document therapy sessions and patient progress accurately and timely.

Schedule and Flexibility

This position offers flexibility in schedule, with options for part-time availability. Candidates must be open to working weekdays and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting is preferred but not mandatory.
