Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, focusing on the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This position requires a strong background in neonatal care and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to NICU patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, noting any changes and responding appropriately.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Be proficient in the use of various O2 delivery systems including nasal cannula, high flow, CPAP, NIV, and ventilators.
- Assist with advanced procedures involving central lines, PICC lines, and umbilical lines.
- Float to inpatient units as needed when not required in the NICU.
- Participate in educational sessions for staff and families regarding neonatal care.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted RN License in Ohio.
- BSN degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience; preference given to candidates with over 2 years of experience.
- Competent in central line, PICC, and umbilical line procedures.
- Experience with G-Tube and tracheostomy care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be skilled in all forms of oxygen delivery systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Work Schedule
This position requires 12-hour night shifts, rotating weekends every third week. Flexibility in scheduling may be necessary based on unit needs.

- Flu vaccine is required; medical exemptions are accepted.
