Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a fast-paced medical/surgical telemetry unit. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Shift Details

• Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday.

Qualifications

• 12 months of combined permanent experience in the medical/surgical telemetry specialty is required.
• A permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license must be held in hand.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required. NIH certification must be obtained prior to starting.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system is mandatory.
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission.

Additional Information

All travelers will need to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a SafeMedicate assessment during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required to continue in the role.
