Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Med Surg Registered Nurse for an exciting opportunity. This position offers a chance to make a significant impact in patient care while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Position Details

• Available Start: ASAP
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Shift: Nights (7a-7p with alternating weekends)

Responsibilities

The Med Surg Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, including:

• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educating patients and their families on health management
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• Experience with Cerner EMR system
• Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility
• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg nursing experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1
