Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team in a Critical Access Hospital setting. This position will primarily cover the Emergency Department at night, with potential responsibilities in nearby locations.

About the Role

The Emergency Room RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and coordination of patient care from admission to discharge within the Emergency Department. This role will involve utilizing accepted standards and protocols, including:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
• Certified Emergency Nursing (CEN)

The RN will play a crucial part in achieving patient outcomes through the implementation of clinical pathways.

Housing

Shared housing may be available within a 30-mile radius, subject to capacity, and is offered at a reduced inclusive rate. Please note that smoking, pets, and families/partners are not permitted.

Shift Information

• 3 Night 12-hour shifts per week
• 2 Call shifts
• Holidays and on-call responsibilities will be required

Requirements

• Preferred experience in Critical Access Hospitals
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient care
