NICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated NICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position involves providing specialized care for neonates in a Level III NICU, which accommodates approximately 190 births per month.

Schedule and Commitments

• Weekend block schedule: Shifts are scheduled from Friday to Sunday.
• Every other weekend commitment is required, with the possibility of exceeding this to meet unit needs.
• Shifts consist of three 12-hour days each week from 06:00 to 18:30.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill neonates.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and execute treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic charting systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a NICU setting.
• Current certifications in BCLS, NRP, and PALS are required.
• Candidates must be open to floating to similar units as necessary, particularly for couplet care.
• All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application and will be approved based on the unit’s needs.
