Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a busy telemetry unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, noting any changes in vital signs and overall health.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Medical Surgical Telemetry nursing experience required.
• Active and unrestricted Ohio nursing license or compact state license is required.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Shift Details

This position requires night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts each week, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
