Pharmacist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacist to join our team in a retail pharmacy setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient care and have a strong background in retail pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients.
• Conduct medication therapy management to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
• Educate patients on medication usage, therapeutic regimens, and potential side effects.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient health outcomes.
• Manage the pharmacy’s daily operations, including inventory management and compliance with regulations.
• Handle prescriptions accurately and efficiently while adhering to best practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy: Required
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree: Preferred
• One year of technical experience in a pharmacy setting: Preferred
• Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience: Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Pharmacist license in the state of practice: Required
• All necessary licensures and certifications to fulfill the duties of a pharmacist at the state level: Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent: Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent: Required
